Thai Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is an ancient art, which involves the use of natural plant oils for healing, cleansing, and relaxation.
The art of aromatherapy is used to restore the harmony of the body and mind. Oil’s and essences are harnessed from plants, flowers and resins, and are applied using deep rolling and stretching massage movements to gain maximum absorption through the pores, and at the same time to give an experience that is extremely relaxing. Thailand has many of its own wonderful herbs and spices, which are transformed into fragrant oils. They have both medicinal and balancing properties. Some of the more typical are jasmine, rose, lavender and eucalyptus.   The pure essential oil is the vital ingredient in any type of aromatherapy treatment. These oils are very different from day to day oils. They are much more concentrated and thus known as essences for very good reason.
Essence is a natural living substance of a plant. The extraction of essences is a very delicate operation and can be very time consuming. 
Essence oils are easily penetrated into the skin due to their high concentration. As these essences are evaporated they are also inhaled via the millions of sensitive cells in the nasal passage. These cells send messages to the brain and thereby enhance both physical and psychological well-being.

Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Yoga Massage
A wonderful treatment passed down from ancient generations, Thai massage involves the application of pressure and gentle stretching of the muscles, also using pressure to stimulate the energy meridians of the body. This massage is performed without oil and pays special attention to the back and legs.
Traditional Thai massage has a 2,500 years old history. It has a unique combination of qualities, being at the same time both energising and relaxing. You will feel these classic benefits during the massage itself, immediately afterwards, and also for a considerable time after the treatment has finished.
Whilst the immediate effects are of physical invigoration, the mental and spiritual impact is very soon apparent as the different parts of your body are stretched and manipulated.

Thai Yoga massage is sometimes referred to as passive yoga: it is the Thai massage combined with yoga stretches that are done to you by the therapist, rather than you having to do them yourself: you could say the best of both worlds!

Thai Foot Massage
This foot massage helps to boost general health and wellbeing, promoting deep relaxation, improving sleep and is very beneficial for stress-relief.
Certain reflex points on the feet correspond to specific internal organs of the body, and respond to massage upon those specific areas of the person’s body. The massage involves stretching and applying pressure to these very precise points to open energy lines in the body and stimulate the activity of each corresponding internal organ and improve blood and lymph circulation.

Thai Herbal Steam Therapy
Our steam-cubicle allows you to bath or shower or to enjoy a jacuzzi, whilst at the same time benefitting from steam and herbal vapours. The herbal steam process is one of the most effective methods of ridding the body of toxic wastes through the skin and lungs.The highly aromatic medicinal herbs are quickly absorbed through the skin pores as well as being inhaled simply through normal relaxed breathing. The steam and the temperature cause increased perspiration and the toxins are expelled through the natural process of sweating. The whole experience is one of relaxation and cleansing.

Herbal Compress
Thai hot herb massage uses steamed compresses containing traditional herbs which ease chronic problems such as back pain and shoulder strain, as well as increasing energy flows. Hot compresses provide the same stimulation as acupressure but have the added advantage that they can be used on areas of the body that may be too painful to bear the pressure of direct massage. The therapist will work on sense energy lines and into tender areas with the compress to relieve the pain.
Sauna

The purpose of the sauna is to relax the muscles after intensive massage, as well as to release through the pores, the toxins broken up by the body treatment. Sweating is one of the body’s natural purification methods and the Thais have traditionally used herbs in the sauna to assist in this process. The classic recipe for a Thai sauna is the same as that for the herbal compresses, although many different aromatic herbs may be added to achieve particular purposes or to address particular needs.
